I could not post my Sunday Dec 15 2019 daily report on my blogpage, I could not upload the necessary image that is required for posting. This has happened before, and this spot is the only one I know of here on weathertogether.net where I can post for all to see.
Partly cloudy, milder, dry update for Sunday December 15, 2019 from West Rockville Maryland
Overnight early Sunday morning still had leftover clouds from our rain on Saturday, but by sunrise cleared off with just scattered/partly cloudy skies taking over for most of the rest of the day, windy at times. Milder temps around the 50 mark took hold by late morning. By evening temps fell into the mid-upper 30s with increasing clouds as our next LOW pressure system started to move in. Dew points started out in the upper 30s by mid-morning but fell to the mid 20s by mid-evening.
The maximum temperature was 50.5 degrees at 1105.
The minimum temperature was 36.7 degrees at 2052.
The dew point temperatures ranged from a high of 38 degrees @ 0930 down to a low of 24 degrees @ 2034.
The relative humidity values ranged from a high of 80% @ 0806 down to a low of 53% @ 1426.
The barometric pressure ranged from a low of 29.69 inches @ 0000 up to a high of 30.25 inches @ 2124.
The highest daily peak wind gust recorded across the street on the roof of the new USG building was 40 MPH at 1017 from the NW.
There was no precipitation on Sunday. My December monthly total precipitation is 2.02 inches.
There was no snow on Sunday. My seasonal total snowfall is 0.3 inches. The year-to-date precipitation total is 45.13 inches.
My current downstairs station data is now showing regularly on Weather Underground. My data is posted there every 5 minutes. My ID is KMDROCKV200 and my station is called Gardens of Traville. Data is online, available in real-time as it is being updated on a 5 minute interval. The web address for my data on weather underground is the usual one I post every day.
I contribute my precipitation data daily to CoCoRaHS as Rockville 2.8 WNW, Station ID MD-MG-115 and can be found on the cocorahs website.
Please remember that my Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge, just as it does on WxLink 2.0. The tipping bucket has been producing erratic values on most days (when I have had rain that is) so should not be used except for general precipitation timing.
I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4 inch CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my official precipitation total each day.
Sunday was a day to catch up on my sleep a bit, and enjoy what was left of the day after I woke up. I made a nice dinner of pollock fillets, garlic mashed potatoes, and steamed broccoli and cauliflower. I watched the SNF game, won by Buffalo 17-10 over the Steelers. I fixed my hearing aids, replacing the batteries so I can really hear again.
