NWAC (Northwest Avalanche Center) is having their annual pre-season fundraiser on October 15, 2016 at the evo store in Seattle. NWAC works closely with the National Weather Service meteorologists in Seattle (they work in the same room) to provide detailed weather and avalanche forecasts for the Cascades and Olympics free of charge. They are a great resource for weather enthusiasts and winter sports enthusiasts alike, and they are wonderful people with an awesome community to boot.
Come for beer, an auction, a raffle, a food truck, and a DJ to get the party started. Tickets are 20 bucks in advance or 25 bucks at the door. Beer is included. 🙂
