Hi everyone. I’m Sara Robertson, and I am not a weather pro, but I love to observe the weather as a window into the natural world around us. I’ve lived in and traveled to many places in the world, and my memories are always studded with feelings about the weather: the cold gray drizzle of a Seattle December day; the scent of eucalyptus drifting through Palo Alto breezes; frozen lakes and rivers dotting the frigid Beijing winter landscape; the almost-unbearable humidity of a Javanese rainy-season afternoon; and the menace of thunderstorms-to-tornadoes formations over the plains of western Missouri. I’m always ready to take a walk in the rain, chase a windstorm, drop everything to watch for winter’s first snowflakes, and breathe in the scent of just-bursting spring flowers. I am looking forward to watching weathertogether.net grow into a true community of fellow weather watchers/dreamers!
