Tuesday was a beautifully sunny, fall day. Autumnal color has been slow in my immediate neighborhood to change, but I might see more during the day on Wednesday. Temperatures held to the more traditional fall […]

Monday was a changeable day, AM clouds, overnight occasional light rain (0.05″), then clearing and cooler the rest of the day. Temperatures did the topsy-turvy thing again, ranging from around 70° (at […]

One of my recent posts talked about how the transition to winter is quicker than the transition to spring. Though the post was concerned with temperature changes and had a global perspective, we in the Pacific […]

Looking forward to getting some real weather as we move into the stormy season! I bought these rain gauges for a reason 😉

I love the rain… it was great to hear it last night while falling asleep. Rainfall totals are looking very impressive for the weekend… latest WRF gives us between 2.5 and 5 inches in 48 hours, with the potential for more than 10 inches by Mt. Hood.

Well, it all depended on what part of the United Kingdom you were in when it did. If you lived in the Republic of Ireland it was a simple case of “Batten down the hatches and stay indoors”, advice ignored by the […]

Since last Wednesday, we received a total of 3.38″ of rain. I think that would put an end to the rain deficit. This morning is starting out with mostly cloudy skies but I can see clearing coming from the w […]

Hi Cathie. I heard from Nathan a few hours ago that he is planning to give Josh a call sometime Wednesday to talk about coming over to Weather Together. Josh had some technical problems with WordPress and also is quite busy right now. Hope Nathan can convince him to come on over. I told Josh that you and Cathie were asking about him.

I spoke with Josh H Saturday night for about 3 hours. He is such a smart, interesting person. And very knowledgeable about the computer and weather technology, among many other things. He is busy right now, and is really having a fight with his physical problems, particularly his epilepsy and resulting seizures and also lyme disease. It is taking a lot out of him. He is busy with those battles now, plus his business and his weather station and closing down his outdoor duties for the winter. He has a hard time with wordpress, and so far is not that impressed with weather together. I told Nathan and asked that he call him this week to discuss Josh’s computer issues with the site and wordpress. He is going to call him when he gets a free moment sometime this week. His email is stormtracker24@verizon.net (he has problems with verizon email also) and his phone number is 410-557-7052. I am sure he would like to hear from you. I wanted to keep this private between you, Patricia and Nathan.

Thanks Kevin. I’m glad that you were able to reach him. I hope he is able to join us soon.
