Once again I had trouble uploading any image on my blog page, so I have had to post my daily weather update here as I did a few days ago. To post this page I have had to get rid of all the usual links I have in my post.
Well once again I got overwhelmed and must make a 2 day post here as a condensed single post.
Mostly sunny, warm, dry Wednesday, July 10 and stormy, warm, humid, showery Thursday, July 11, 2019 update for West Rockville Maryland

The early morning min was in the low 70s, rising into the upper 80s by early afternoon before the clouds and rain moved in then dropped to the very low 70s by midnight observation time. The dew point temperature started out in the upper mid 60s in the very early AM then rose into the very muggy upper 70s by mid-day ahead of the precipitation, then dropped into the upper 60s by midnight observation.

My current online data (except for rainfall/snowfall – use the cocorahs link shown below for that dataset) is showing regularly on Weather Underground. My data is posted there every 5 minutes. My ID is KMDROCKV200 and my station is called “Gardens of Traville.” Data is online, available in real-time as it is being updated on a 5 minute interval.
I contribute my precipitation data daily to CoCoRaHS as Rockville 2.8 WNW, Station ID MD-MG-115.
Please remember that my Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge, just as it does on WxLink 2.0. The tipping bucket has been producing erratic values every day of late so should not be used except for general precipitation timing.
I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4 inch CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.
On Wednesday I ate left over brats from Tuesday, similarly garnished with onions, mustard and cheese slices, and on Thursday I made spaghetti and meatballs with zucchini and mushrooms and grated parmesan cheese for dinner. I had a sausage egg and cheese muffin on Wednesday for breakfast, and then had cereal and banana on Thursday. Baseball was still on All Star Break on Wednesday but they managed to sneak one game in on Thursday night that I caught a bit of with Texas topping Houston.
We have a succession of seasonably warm days ahead through Tuesday, with high temps in the upper 80s to low 90s by day and in the upper 60s to lower 70s by overnight low temps. Partly to mostly sunny skies should dominate with little to no chances of rain. Later next week we may get paid a visit of the remnants of tropical storm Barry, which is scheduled to make landfall on the Louisiana coast by Saturday morning and then slowly track north and east possibly giving us some rain on Thursday and/or Friday.
Midnight Thursday recorded a temperature of 70.8°, relative humidity 95%, pressure steady at 29.81 inches and a dew point temperature of 69.3° under clearing skies.
Currently at 0923 the temperature is 75.5° under mostly sunny skies, relative humidity at 86%, barometric pressure rising at 29.85 inches, and the dew point temperature at 71°.
Good morning from the walrus on this sunny Friday. I am having problems loading today’s featured image into this post. Not being able to do that is keeping me from posting this update on my blog page. So I will have to do a makeshift update on the activity page and also on FACEBOOK, much as I did the other day.
