Nathan Parker wrote a new post, Santa Watch for All of Arkansas #ARWX, on the site Arkansas Severe Weather Updates 4 months, 1 week ago
There is a “Santa Watch” across the state this evening. It is likely that Santa will be arriving in the state tonight. We’re tracking Santa with NORAD Santa Tracker and will report back here when Santa arrives.
-
I believe I am in a position to give you an estimate, as not only is NORAD tracking him but also Sky Television in the UK with their special “Where’s Santa?” app, which since 10.00am GMT this morning has been tracking him and from what I can determine his average speed is around 15,000 kmph (around 9,000mph). At the moment of posting (9.52pm GMT) he is heading towards the Central African Republic and seems to be heading vertically along each international time zone, therefore as the CAR is in the GMT +1 timezone, I believe he is likely to arrive in Arkansas around 10.30pm – 11.00pm CST (give or take half an hour or so)
